    Public 24/7 Left 4 Dead 2 Game Server List

    OverclockedLAN is home to more than 20 Left 4 Dead 2 game servers in two continents. Our most popular location is Brazil, which attracts many Argentina players as well. This is mostly due to the fact that Valve Left 4 Dead/Left 4 Dead 2 servers are based in Chile and Peru, which is several hundreds of miles away from Brazil and Argentina. The other location is currently Miami, Florida of the United States. This USA location provides direct connectivity to the most southern point of the continental United States, which also allows players in Puerto Rico and Mexico to benefit as well. There are plans to open up more locations throughout the continental United States, but Valve dominates the market share of L4D/L4D2 game servers there, especially on the West Coast.

    They have zero plugins running on them, that means no SourceMod and no MetaMod, which are two of the most popular plugins that allow additional addons. There is absolutely no admin abuse on these servers, since the only admin functionality is kick and ban when necessary. There are no VIP packages, and no admin subscriptions.

    All of the servers have an expected uptime of 100%, and they are intended to be online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If they are listed here, they are public servers, which means there is no password, and you are welcome to play at any time of the day.    ​





    VALVe Anti-Cheat remains strong, which means that there should be no, and there is no, tolerance for hacking or cheating of any kind. VAC is enabled on all servers.​



    24/7 Left 4 Dead 2 USA Game Servers

    These servers feature the standard maximum of 8 player slots for versus, and 4 player slots for campaign, depending on the game settings. They have all official Left 4 Dead 2 stock maps, with no plugins, mods or custom maps installed. Gameplay is strictly vanilla as Valve designed the game for. Players are able to place the usual votes of return to lobby, change map, kick player, and more. You can connect to these servers via matchmaking, or from the main menu if you are part of the OverclockedLAN Steam Group, or from the legacy server browser through console with "openserverbrowser". Alternatively, you may connect by clicking the direct connect URLs below, but be advised a game may already be in progress with game settings you may not want to play with.

    If you require any assistance, feel free to post in this forum or in the OverclockedLAN Steam Group, in English, Portuguese or any language you are comfortable with. Although it's not my fault, I as a North American would like to apologize to our South American neighbors in Argentina and Brazil who feel the effects of connecting to game servers in Peru or Chile. This isn't ideal, and I've noticed this for some time. I am happy to provide these servers to play on.
